Editorial content
The desk's content is editorial; the operator's content is operational.
The site publishes editorial content: rules, format guides, strategy notes, platform reviews and responsible-play resources. The desk does not warrant that any specific piece is accurate for any specific purpose.
The affiliate link points to a third-party operator. The operator's terms apply to the operator's site. The desk is not a party to the operator's terms and does not warrant the operator's services.
Jurisdiction
The desk is operated from India. Indian law applies to the desk's editorial content. Where a reader is outside India, the desk's editorial content is offered as-is and without warranty for any specific jurisdiction.
Reader responsibility
The desk publishes editorial content; the reader decides what to do with it.
The site is for adult readers. The site is not for readers in jurisdictions where paid rummy is restricted.
The desk does not offer gambling advice. The desk does not warrant that any strategy will produce any specific outcome. Rummy is a skill game with variance; even the best reader loses sessions.

Acceptable use of the site
What readers may and may not do on the desk's pages.
The site is offered to adult readers for personal, non-commercial reading. A reader may view pages, read articles, listen to the desk's editorial framing, and use the feedback form to send the desk a note. A reader may quote brief excerpts from the desk's articles in good faith, provided the desk is named and the excerpt is clearly attributed. A reader may not republish a full article, mirror the site on another domain, or scrape the site in bulk.
The desk's infrastructure is not a target. A reader may not probe the site, attempt to load pages at a rate that would degrade service for other readers, attempt to circumvent any rate limit, attempt to inject scripts into the desk's pages, or attempt to access the desk's back-end systems. The desk's hosting and security tooling detect automated traffic and the desk reserves the right to block traffic it cannot verify.
Comments and feedback
Where the desk runs a feedback form, the form is a channel to the desk, not a public forum. The desk does not publish reader comments. The desk reads reader notes in good faith and replies where a reply is useful. The desk does not warrant that a reader note will receive a personal reply.
Conduct that the desk does not accept
The desk does not accept harassment of the desk's editors, threats of any kind, attempts to extract favours through pressure, or abuse of the feedback channel. Where the desk receives a note that crosses the line, the desk keeps a record and may report the matter to the appropriate authority.
Editorial licence and copyright
Who owns the prose, who can quote it, and what reuse looks like.
The desk's articles, photographs, design and code are the desk's work. The desk holds the copyright in the original prose, the desk's own photographs, the desk's site design, and the desk's underlying HTML and CSS. The desk's logo, brand wordmark and trademarks are the desk's marks. Where the desk quotes a third party, the third party's licence applies to the quotation; the desk attributes the quotation and notes the source.
A reader who wishes to quote the desk may do so under the desk's editorial licence: brief excerpts, in good faith, with attribution to the desk and a working link back to the original article. The editorial licence does not cover republication of a full article. The editorial licence does not cover translation, adaptation, or commercial reuse. Where a reuse is outside the editorial licence, the reader should contact the desk.
Reader-owned content
Where a reader sends the desk a note, a comment, or a tip by the feedback form, the desk reads the note as the reader's submission. The desk does not claim ownership of the reader's note. The desk may quote the note in a published article or a published correction where the note has led to a change in the desk's published prose; the desk notes the reader's contribution at the foot of the article where the contribution is significant.
Photographs and imagery
Some of the desk's photographs are the desk's own work. Other photographs are licensed from third parties. Where a third party holds the licence, the desk notes the licence at the foot of the affected article or in the image's alt text. A reader who wishes to reuse a photograph should check the licence noted against the photograph before downloading.
Third-party links
Where the desk's links go, and what the desk does and does not warrant about the destination.
The site contains links to third-party sites. The desk's only commercial link is the affiliate link to the rummy operator; the link is a redirect and is labelled as such in the site's markup. The site also contains links to primary sources, to state government pages, to court pages, to news outlets, and to other editorial pages that the desk's editors have read in the course of writing. The desk does not warrant that any of these destinations are current at the moment a reader clicks them.
A link from the desk's site is editorial reference, not endorsement. The desk does not warrant the destination's content, the destination's security, the destination's privacy practice, or the destination's terms. The desk does not warrant that the destination will load, that the destination will resolve, or that the destination will be available in the reader's jurisdiction.
The affiliate link in detail
The affiliate link opens the operator's site in the reader's browser. The link is a normal anchor with a redirect handler. The link's attributes note that the link is sponsored and that the link should not pass ranking signals. The link does not transmit personal data beyond the standard referrer header. The reader's subsequent activity on the operator's site is governed by the operator's privacy and terms, not by the desk's.
External links to primary sources
Where the desk links to a primary source, the desk does so for the reader's convenience. The desk does not warrant that the primary source will remain available at the same URL. The desk does not warrant that the primary source has not been edited or superseded. The desk notes the date of access at the foot of the article where the date matters.
Limitation of liability
The desk's exposure, in plain terms.
The desk is editorial. The desk's liability runs to the reader in respect of the desk's editorial content. The desk's liability does not run to the reader in respect of any third party's content, product or service. The desk is not liable for the reader's winnings, the reader's losses, the reader's session length, the reader's deposit decisions, or the reader's tax position. The desk is not liable for the operator's uptime, the operator's pricing, the operator's payout decisions, or the operator's account actions.
To the extent the law permits, the desk's aggregate liability under or in connection with the reader's use of the site is limited to an amount the desk can reasonably quantify in nominal terms. The desk's editorial content is offered as-is; the desk does not accept liability for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses. The desk does not exclude liability where the desk cannot lawfully exclude it.
What the desk does not exclude
The desk does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by the desk's negligence. The desk does not exclude liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. The desk does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to the reader's use of the site. Where the law requires a different framing of these limits, the law's framing applies.
Indemnity
The desk does not seek an indemnity from the reader. The desk accepts that the reader uses the site on the desk's terms; the desk does not seek to recover from the reader any loss the desk suffers in respect of the reader's use. Where the desk's terms say otherwise, the desk will say so plainly and will name the scope of the indemnity in this section.
Changes to these terms
How the desk updates, and what readers should do.
The desk may update these terms from time to time. Updates are most often small: a clarified sentence, a corrected cross-reference, a re-ordered paragraph. Updates are occasionally larger: a new section in response to a recurring reader question, a removed section where the desk has stopped doing the thing the section described, or a rewording where the original wording was unclear.
Where an update is material, the desk notes the update at the foot of this page. The desk does not silently rewrite terms the way the desk does not silently rewrite articles. A reader who returns to this page and reads the foot note sees what changed and when. The desk does not notify readers by email; the desk's terms are public, the desk's notice of change is public, and the reader's continued use of the site after the notice is the reader's acceptance of the change.
What a reader should do
A reader who returns to the site periodically should skim the foot of this page. A reader who has a question about a recent change should use the feedback form. A reader who does not accept a change should stop using the site; the desk's relationship with the reader runs on the terms as updated, and the desk has no way to run a separate relationship on the old terms.
The desk's editorial discipline applies here
These terms are editorial content. The same discipline that applies to articles applies here. Where the desk gets something wrong, the desk publishes a correction. Where the desk's terms are unclear, the desk reads the question and rewrites the section. The desk's corrections page notes the audit trail for these terms in the same way it does for articles.
Governing law and disputes
The general framework, without naming a court.
These terms are governed by the law that applies to the desk's editorial operations. The desk is operated from India. Indian law governs the construction, validity and effect of these terms, except where the law of another jurisdiction is required to apply. Where the reader is outside India, the desk's editorial content is offered as-is and without warranty for any specific foreign jurisdiction.
The desk's preference is to resolve disputes by correspondence. A reader who has a dispute with the desk should write to the desk by the feedback form or by the contact page. The desk reads disputes in good faith and replies with the desk's position. Where a dispute cannot be resolved by correspondence, the dispute is referred to the courts of competent jurisdiction under the law that applies; the desk does not name a specific court in these terms because the law may change, and the desk would rather keep the terms general than keep them stale.
Severability
If a court finds that any provision of these terms is unenforceable, the rest of the terms continue to apply. The desk does not intend any provision to be read in a way that makes the rest of the terms unenforceable; where one provision is severed, the remaining provisions stand on their own.
Entire agreement
These terms, together with the legal notice, the privacy notice, the corrections policy and the responsible-play guide, are the entire agreement between the reader and the desk in respect of the reader's use of the site. Where a reader has been given a separate representation by the desk, that representation is recorded in writing on the site and is to be read as part of the agreement.
